This is a unique opportunity to own end-to-end financial operations across multiple jurisdictions while playing a key role in business strategy, governance, and growth.
This role is ideal for a qualified finance professional with strong technical skills and business acumen who wants to join a fast-growing company at the ground level, build and scale the finance function from the ground up, and accelerate their career alongside our business growth.
What you'll do:
- Capital Management - Assist with fundraising processes including financial modelling, data room preparation, and due diligence. Maintain structured records of historical raises and shareholder activity.
- Financial Planning & Analysis - Drive annual planning cycles, budgeting, and scenario modelling. Build and maintain dynamic financial models to support board decisions and investor conversations, while coordinating headcount and hiring plans.

- Finance Operations - Manage bookkeeping, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and monthly close processes across parent and subsidiaries. Prepare consolidated management accounts and oversee payroll compliance across NZ, AU, and US jurisdictions.
- Finance Team Management - Recruit, mentor, and grow the finance function as the business scales, transitioning from hands-on execution to strategic leadership over time.
What we're looking for:
- Professional accounting qualification (CA ANZ, CPA Australia, or equivalent)
- 5+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally including exposure to high-growth or venture-backed companies
- Strong financial modelling and FP&A skills
- Track record supporting fundraising activities
